About the Author
Cradle was born and raised in central Texas to a multi-cultural family of religious pilgrims. As a teenager, they began their own pilgrimage. Once in university studying philosophy, they were opened to theological pluralism. They set out to study the theory, along with using it as their Final topic. Now they spend their time dedicating their literary work to the same philosophical ideology and to the Gods they attribute their motivations to. Their works, such as The Philosophy of Naphus and Nightmares and Serenades, may be fantasy, but philosophic allegory with Gothic and Romantic inspirations take the forefront.
Cradle writes fiction at the intersection of religion, classical myth, and speculative fantasy. "The Philosophy of Naphus" collects thoughts and fictions that investigate belief — a place where marble columns meet corruption and grace.

Statement of Aesthetic
Cradle's work traffics in the ruin and the ritual: elegies to gods in their entirity; prayers written in action; and rooms where saints speak in low whispers. Expect classical forms, dense imagery, and a patient inquiry into moral architecture.
